Stanza 18: Life, Love, Laughter

Here are a few analogies of life, love, and laughter that I have personally crafted, inspired by various authors, poets, and speakers:

Life is like…

a poem, filled with stanzas of people who make a profound impact on your daily thoughts and actions.

an elevator: going up, down, and sometimes resting on one floor.

a sprint: a race that is too short, fast-paced, and over in seconds.

an ocean, where waves recede near the shore and turbulent tides wrestle.

a kitchen: a mixture of powdery, crystalline ingredients chemically fusing into a delectable treat

Love is like…

a roller coaster of emotions: twists and turns of joy, intimacy, and trust.

a photo: a snapshot of moments, memories, and time shared together.

a butterfly flying: gentle, rare, and precious.

a rushing river, never-ending and powerful.

wind, one can feel its strength but can’t see it.

Laughter is like…

a late-night bonfire, crackling heat and burning bright with joy

a morning sunrise or evening sunset, coming and going, rising and falling.

a good book; it’s hard to stop reading.

yawning; it’s contagious.

“the best medicine”.

Continue to live your life, laughing and expressing love each day!
